Help shape a more walkable, bikeable, and transit friendly San Antonio through the SATX Trails and Safe Streets Coalition!

We are a wide range of local leaders and passionate community groups who meet monthly on the last Tuesday of the month at noon via Zoom to discuss policy, plans, quick-action projects, and how to fund efforts related improving our trails, streets, transit, and other aspects that affect them, such as urban design. The SATX Trails and Safe Streets Coalition was formerly called the San Antonio Complete Streets Coalition, a wide range of local leaders and passionate community groups with a shared common goal of adopting an updated complete streets policy for the City of San Antonio – adopted by City Council in September 2024 and later named the best Complete Streets policy in the nation!

This group has taken shape and form in various ways over the years, but has taken a leading role in the Share the Streets effort during the COVID-19 pandemic, securing $106 million for greenway trails in 2022, and advocating for a strong, new Complete Streets policy in 2024.
